Commissioned by housing association Rochdale, we are currently working on a project in Amsterdam's Deysselbuurt neighbourhood. It involves three identical residential blocks with a total of 150 homes, with Hamlet responsible for the structural design and engineering of the timber main structure.
What makes the design unique compared to many other residential buildings is that each block incorporates no fewer than five different typologies. From two-room flats to five-room flats for large families. Each block also has a flat specially designed for wheelchair users.
Hamlet is also responsible for supplying and assembling of the timber structures.
Dura Vermeer is the main contractor for this project.
Completion is scheduled for mid-2027.
The aesthetic design is by Office Winhov.
