The Timber Lion comes to life

This week we started the realization of the wooden main  structure of The Timber Lion; a residential building with 53 studio apartments for young people in Amsterdam.

 

The main building will be accessed by a wide living gallery.

The wooden strcuture will store 550 tons of CO2.

The construction time by the Hamlet team is 8 weeks, including installation of light timber frame facades and prefab bathrooms pods.
